Marvel Studios showed off a sizzle reel for Ms. Marvel at their Walt Disney Investor's Day presentation.
Ms. Marvel started filming a few weeks ago, and Marvel Studios has released a first look sizzle video to drum up excitement for Kamala Khan's live-action debut! The video features behind-the-scenes interviews with people like Kevin Feige, mimicking the style seen in 2019's Expanding the Universe mini-documentary about the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe Disney+ series. The video also features some shots from the actual show, which I think are absolutely breathtaking. My favorites are the shots of Kamala and Bruno on the roof at night and Kamala laying on her bed before the camera focuses in on her Captain Marvel poster.
Feige also confirmed that Iman Vellani will be portraying Kamala Khan not just in Ms. Marvel, but also in 2022's Captain Marvel 2. This has been speculated for some time, but it's great to get confirmation of Kamala's story continuing almost immediately!
Ms. Marvel begins streaming exclusively on Disney+ in late 2021 or early 2022.
